London Metal Exchange (LME)
Status of the initiative or product described: Tokenization exploration
LME uses electronic warrants documenting rights to lots of metal. Digitizing a document does not by itself demonstrate blockchain issuance.
According to Reuters (28 October 2026), LME is exploring tokenizing off-warrant inventories for financing. This is not a confirmed commercial launch.
For LME and HKEX: network, token contract, final rights and retail access await documentation. No purchasable token is presented.
