Tether USDt (USDT)
Dollar-linked token backed by reserves according to Tether. Direct access requires meeting its terms. The official directory separates current and historical networks: an old contract does not imply current support or redemption.
Fiat reference · centralized issuer
Reference entity or protocol
Tether International, S.A. de C.V.
Identity, function and cited conditions reviewed: 26 October 2026. Information attributed to official sources; not an audit of reserves, solvency or security. Unlisted networks, contracts and conditions are not considered reviewed.
Access, redemption and costs: what to check
Distinguish buying on a market from direct redemption with the issuer or protocol. Check eligible country, identity requirements, applicable agreement, minimums, fees, receiving network and timing. A market sale depends on liquidity and may have a different price. This profile does not establish your eligibility.
Native issuance, bridges and contracts
Native to a network means issued or recognized there by its issuer or protocol. A bridged token involves additional transfer infrastructure and may have a different contract and risks. A name or ticker is insufficient: verify network, official address, bridge operator and destination compatibility. We do not direct users to unverified copied contracts. The network gas token is not necessarily a stablecoin or its governance token.
Risks and profile limitations
A stable reference does not guarantee the peg or continuous sale or redemption. Review reserves or collateral, custody, counterparties, contracts, oracles, freezes and rule changes. Governance tokens add volatility and concentrated voting power. Savings receipts combine underlying risks with exit-mechanism risk; variable rewards are not guaranteed returns.
Documentation and official sources
An expandable directory, not an exhaustive inventory of every token. Inclusion implies neither commercial partnership, authorization to operate nor recommendation. Governance and receipt profiles are separate from stablecoins to avoid confusing rights.
